🎀 Celebration, Change & Choosing Support

Breast Cancer Awareness

A Month of Celebration and Change

October has always been my favorite month, and this year it carries extra meaning. Carver Concierge is turning 13, and with each passing year, I’ve grown older and wiser right alongside it. What I’ve learned on this journey is this: women are carrying more than ever, often silently, and it doesn’t have to be that way. My mission is to change the story because asking for help isn’t weakness, it’s strength. When women are supported, they step into their full power. And when women step into their power, they change everything.

Why Breast Cancer Awareness Matters

Everywhere you look this month, you’ll see pink ribbons. But behind every ribbon is a woman’s story, a family’s story. A reminder that health is not something to take for granted. Taking care of our health is one of the most powerful ways we can support the people who count on us. That means scheduling the mammogram, asking the doctor the difference between 3D and standard screenings, and learning how to do a self-check. It means saying yes to the appointment even when our calendar is already bursting. Because the women in our lives need us to be healthy, present, and strong.

Tools That Support Our Health

One resource I want to share this month is the Feel For Your Life App , created by breast cancer survivor and advocate Nikki Jensen. Nikki built this app to empower women to take charge of their breast health with reminders, education, and community. It’s simple, free, and powerful – because sometimes the most important support we can give ourselves is the reminder to pause and care for our own bodies.

The Well Supported Woman Mission

This month also connects directly to my mission. The Well Supported Woman Movement was born from one simple truth: support isn’t weakness – it’s strategy. For too long, women have been taught to carry it all – work, family, health, aging parents, households, careers, and every invisible detail in between. But carrying it all alone comes at a cost. I believe well-supported women change the world. And that begins when we give ourselves permission to say yes to support. Yes to our health. Yes, to help. Yes to building the systems around us that let us thrive.

An Invitation to Join Me

On October 22, I’ll be hosting an intimate gathering in Franklin, TN – The Well Supported Woman: Why Support is the New Strategy. It will be a space for women to drop the weight of doing it all, reflect on what life could look like with more support, and walk away lighter. Tickets are extremely limited, and this conversation is one you don’t want to miss.

The Well Supported Woman

Standing Boldly in the Mission

So this October, I’m celebrating. I’m embracing change. And I’m standing boldly in my mission: to remind women everywhere that they don’t have to do it all to be everything. Support is not a sign of weakness – it’s the strategy that makes thriving possible. And thriving women? They change the world.
