Military Mom Launches College Concierge “Mom Away from Home” Program
Tampa, Fla. – Local military mom, Nicole Carver, has launched the “Mom Away from Home” program as the latest package available through her company Carver Concierge.
College is an exciting and frightening time for students and parents. Every parent wants their children to spread their wings and soar while at the same time they want to hang on tight and take care of their child forever. Carver Concierge can help parents and students with this time of transition.
With three levels of service available from beginning and end of college to everything in between, parents can rest assured knowing that just because they can’t be with their kids doesn’t mean they can’t still have a mom away from home.
Every student who is part of this program will be assisted with getting settled into college whether they are a freshman or a transferring student. As part of their “welcome to college” initiation their “mom” will provide transportation to their Tampa college of choice from the airport, a student welcome gift, assistance with cell phone plan choices and activation as well as assistance in establishing local banking needs. Students in the program will also receive assistance with the end of the year tasks up to and including service hold requests for local utilities, packing and storage/shipping of dorm furniture and belongings, assistance in moving back home or to another location as well as help with cleaning out their dorm/apartment once they are all packed up.
The goal of this program is to assure parents that their student will be able to focus on scholastics, athletics and other extra curricular activities while “mom” handles the other stuff.
